HATT CONSULTING
Stress-free practice development
A course for dentists.
Get concrete tools to improve your work-life balance.
The course aims to reduce the risk of burning out and drowning in everyday problems in dental practice.
In the ‘Balance in Dental Life’ course, we identify easy and low-hanging fruit that you can pick right away. This is the first step towards a better everyday life in dental practice.
The course is aimed at both employed dentists and practice owners.
All dentists benefit from management courses. After all, we all act as middle managers when we are employees. It's just that not everyone takes on this responsibility.
Unfortunately, this means that many colleagues unknowingly step into a ‘victim role’ and over the years experience how it becomes increasingly hard mentally and physically to practise. This manifests itself in regrets, lack of energy for children, spouse, friends, themselves and in the worst case depression, addiction, divorce.
In the course, we provide a number of tools that make it possible to navigate around the many traps that lead to the above challenges. Below you can read more about what you get out of the course.
We look forward to seeing you.
Balance your professionalism
Professionalism in balance
Since 2018, Hatt Consulting has helped dentists develop dental practices that support dentists' lives to avoid burnout and restore job satisfaction. This is done through courses and individual counselling sessions, among other things.
‘WORLD CLASS!’, “SUPERIOR CONTROL OF THE FRAMEWORK”, “MAGIC” and: ‘IT'S A GIFT TO GIVE TO YOURSELF’ are some of the words course participants have previously used to describe their course experiences.
With a ‘mini retreat’ in Elsinore over a Friday and Saturday, we can organise the course so that it has minimal impact on your appointment book, while keeping the price low. That way, many more people can join.
The plan is for you to learn as much as possible about how to create lasting changes that give you more freedom, better finances, greater joy in working with your teeth AND how it affects your private life and makes everyday life better.
Our ambition is to make the programme concrete, thought-provoking, entertaining and useful. It's a big ambition, but you're there to help Sussanne and Jesper.
This is all included in the course
⭐️ 12+ hours of training in self-management, team management, practice development and implementation strategies
⭐️ 3 ways to more freedom and personal development
⭐️ 1 hour of morning yoga linked to the theoretical training.
⭐️ Insight into simple and valuable mindfulness and NLP tools for everyday use.
⭐️ Assignments to be solved during the course
⭐️ Reflections and discussion papers
⭐️ Quizzes and other elements to keep you sharp throughout the course
⭐️ And of course a lot of other goodies for those who book one or more of the 20 places
What have i learned when i am done?
It can be difficult for us to know exactly what you're getting. We don't know your prior knowledge and experience. But at the very least, you'll get:
A better understanding of what it takes to achieve more joy in life.
Practical tools to shape your work to support your life - rather than the opposite.
Concrete methods that you can use alone or in your team to make improvements.
It's all in the core curriculum of the course.
Theory
You'll get an introduction to stress-free development that supports balance in life inside and outside the dental practice.
In the classic dentist's life, you give and give of yourself all the time, without getting anything in return. This imbalance will give you the tools to manage and actively address it.
We clear up classic misconceptions and focus on the fact that we are there to learn something that you can use immediately.
We go through 4 key elements that can help you find practical solutions to the problems you struggle with in your daily life. As well as a number of low-level practical tips that you can return to in your dental practice and in your private life when you're feeling a little overwhelmed.
In short, you get:
-
Introduction to stress-free development that makes you more productive
-
A better understanding of why dentists burn out and how you can avoid it
-
3 concrete tools to help prevent burnout and loss of job satisfaction
Practice
We include concrete examples of how other dentists have used the principles of stress-free development to create better solutions in the clinic. We cover a wide range of public and private practice in both Denmark and abroad.
To keep the focus on reality, you will also solve specific cases. These are tasks that we ourselves have been given and have an attitude towards and which are certainly reminiscent of the challenges that you face in everyday life.
In short, you get:
-
A number of examples and cases
-
Opportunity to work with real cases
-
Questions you must reflect on and relate to your own everyday life
Method
Sussanne and Jesper will introduce you to some very simple methods that you can switch up or down depending on how many resources you have.
You'll find that we prioritise simplicity over showing you a chrome-plated model with a thousand details that no one can remember afterwards anyway.
This is a conscious choice. We'd rather show you something you'll use than something detailed that you'll forget after the course.
In short, you get:
-
Simple, practical methods that optimize the likelihood of success
-
Different ways to achieve your goals so you don't feel locked into something you can't see yourself in
-
Knowledge of pitfalls and experience with the use of the methods
Target group of the course:
If you are a dentist, clinic owner or clinic manager, you are in the target group. There are many of them, so the target group is broad and includes, among other things, you who want to work with:
-
Well-being
-
Stucco trip
-
Motivation
-
Communication
-
Management & Self-management
Our recommendation:
Take the course together with others
We recommend that you take the "professionalism in balance" course with a colleague, your spouse, your study club or similar.
So does that mean you can't take the course alone?
No, you can easily register even if you are just yourself. But we recommend that you find someone to accompany you.
There are three reasons for this:
-
We organize the course based on the premise that you can reflect and talk about tasks that relate to your own clinic. It's just nice to be able to do this with someone you have a relationship with.
-
It is much more likely that you will use the principles from the course if you do it together with your colleague, your spouse or your ERFA group.
-
When one person gains new knowledge, it is often difficult to implement in the clinic afterwards. When there are more of you, on the other hand, you get a common understanding and a common focus, which means that you can help each other afterwards. (Of course, you can also make an appointment with Jesper or Sussanne, who will be happy to follow up and help you achieve your goals)
So yes, you can certainly take the course alone. There's just a risk that you won't get as much out of it. It might not be so smart to draw attention to from our side, but it's really smart in terms of the effect on your side.
What does it cost?
The total investment in the course is: 5.995,- dkr and includes:
